National Vocation Awareness Week
National Vocation Awareness Week logoJanuary 11-17, 2009

National Vocations Awareness Week begins with the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord which marks Jesus' initiation into public ministry. From the universal call to holiness at Baptism, each one of us receives a special vocational calling from God.

During this special week we pray for renewal and strengthening of vocations to marriage and the single life and especially for men to serve as priests, deacons and brothers and for women to serve as religious sisters.
