Born in 1934 in Detroit she joined the sisterhood of the Home Visitors of Mary in City Parishes of Detroit since 1952.  She received a B.A. in Sociology from Marygrove College in 1959, an M.A. in theology from Marquette University in 1962, and an M.A. in Religion and Personality from Duquesne University in 1969. 
 
She has given numerous retreats, seminars, talks for campuses, parishes, seminarians, priests, religious women, deacons, and laity since 1967.  She has served on the formation programs for several Christian Brothers and religious women. 
 
Her memberships have included:  National Federation of Spiritual Directors of Seminaries; Association of Directors of College Seminary Apostolic Experience Program; and Archdiocesan Catholic Campus Ministry Association.  
 
In addition to her position as Director of the Apostolic Experience in the College of Liberal Arts, she teaches as Assistant Professor of Theology in both the College of Liberal Arts and the School of Theology and serves the institution on the Social Concerns, AAM/Diploma Degree Committees and the Priestly Formation Team in the College of Liberal Arts.   She has been at Sacred Heart Major Seminary since 1969.
