Computer Lab and Learning Center

Computer Lab
The computer lab at Sacred Heart Major Seminary provides computer and Internet resources for students. The lab has networked computers for Internet access, word processing, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software. Students who wish to use the computer lab must contact the Information Technology manager to obtain a password. In addition, all students must sign and agree to abide by the AOD computer use policy. The computer lab is located on the ground floor northwest hallway, room 20.

Electronic Classroom
The electronic classroom suite features video conferencing and distance learning technology-enabling courses to be broadcast to various satellite sites for study. Certain SHMS courses are broadcast to satellite locations. These locations are fully interactive with full motion video and audio in real time. Normal registration procedures and deadlines apply to these courses.

Learning Center
The Learning Center (LC) provides academic assistance to students in writing, study skills, and reading. In addition, the LC provides academic assessment testing. Students who need academic assistance or tutoring should contact the LC Director. The Learning Center is located on the ground floor, at the northwest corner of the main quad, across from room 19.
